I wish I could guarantee your Success. I wish I could bottle up all my HS, College , and Professional playing victories and give it to you. I wish I could take the DNA of some of the WNBA and NBA players that I have worked with and INJECT IT into your bloodstream. I can't. I can't SELL that but I can TELL you what is REAL. You can defy the odds and be as good as you possibly can be!

Your PLAN OF ATTACK: 

 

  1) DEFINE Your Strengths and Weaknesses 

 
INTERVIEW Your AAU, HS, or whoever your Coach is. Have them give you a list of skill sets that you can work on by yourself or in organized pic up games. 
 
ALLOW CRITICISM IN YOUR GAME FROM COACHES WHO ARE RESPECTED

 

2) DEVELOP A BASKETBALL IEP. 

 
This is an Individual Exercise Plan, A Workout . Have a defined skill set with drills that help you get to learn to master that skill. Each workout should last 1.5 to 2 hrs. Each workout can have up to 3 skills you can work on.
 
Workout #1 might be Driving, Shooting , and Finishing skills with drills.
Workout #2 might be Shooting, Passing, and Ball handling skills with drills.  
 
*Make sure to take 2 days off a week. You might Go M- F and take Sat/Sunday off. 

3) DONT GET ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER (ADD) GET ATTENTION TO SMALL DETAILS (ATSD)

 
This means your practice has to be correct, your movements have to be accurate. Your not always gonna do it correctly but your intentions need to be there.
 
Eventually, with enough practice, your mechanics will be sound!  Remember, a good routine equals good results.  Correct Repetition equals a Correct Reputation
 
* Don't Forget to Work on counters with your every move.  Therefore in the game when defences makes a mistake you make them pay.
 

4) GO GAME SPEED with all your Drills

 
When you are just learning, of course you will be slower. The more you practice the better you get. Make sure your moves and skills are performed at the same speed and POWER that you need in the game.
