7) TAKE THE MJ APPROACH- DON’T JUST WORK ON SKILLS
Michael Jordan concentrated on 3 things . He wanted to improve his skill, he wanted to improve his body, he wanted to compete and win!
Going 1 on none is good but you must also go 1 on one. Make sure you play against live defenders . Make sure you play a lot of 5 on 5. You have to test out your skills. Get into situations where you can make decisions. You must improve your BB IQ. Playing good structured games against better, stronger , older, players achieves this.
Last, make sure you get into a good strength routine 2-3 times a week. You need to add muscle and be able to withstand the physical play of great teams.
8) IMPROVE YOUR DIET AND PAY ATTENTION TO IT
There is direct correlation between what you put in your body and how your body performs. Keep a food journal of when you eat and what you eat.
You should be eating every 4 hours. Many fruits , vegetables, chicken, and fish. Slot of broiled and grilled food. Very little processed food if any.
* Drink a GALLON of water a day. Your urine should be clear
9) YOU NEED AN OLD SCHOOL ATTITUDE . YOU NEED TO HAVE AN “OG” Around you.
This is a mentor, a person who has some “LIFE” in them. They have experience and have been where you want to go.
