Ganon Baker Basketball Professional Skill Development Trainers are certified under Ganon Baker’s Skill Development Curriculum and are contracted and managed by Ganon Baker Basketball Services. These Trainers have been hand selected by Ganon Baker to lead divisions of Ganon Baker Basketball in their respective areas. Several of our trainers are also sought after for personal training, camps and clinics, and motivational speaking across the country and internationally. Ganon Baker – Bluefield, VA
Ganon Baker is the owner and an active professional skill development pro-staff trainer. He founded GBB in 2001 and has built it into a successful worldwide business. He is a former high-school, college, and professional player who is still in shape and has not lost his basketball skills. He trains players of all ages from middle school all the way up to the WNBA/NBA. His events are some of the best in the world.
MJ Baker – Bluefield, VA
MJ is a very bright, sharp, and competitive trainer who will push you to your basketball potential. She is a former Division II All-American and former professional player. She is still the leading shot blocker and rebounder in the history of the University of West Florida. After playing professional in Germany she went on to win two Louisiana State High-School Championships. She is currently the head women’s coach at Bluefield College in Bluefield, VA. Before that MJ was the head women’s coach at Spartanburg Methodist College in South Carolina where she was named coach of the year and her team won their region. She has also worked as an elite trainer for the Nike National Skill Academy. Players love working out with MJ. She is based out of Spartanburg, SC and can come to you.
Rob Burke – Charleston, SC
Rob Burke is the assistant coach at The Citadel and is an elite skill trainer with Nike girl’s Skill Academies, Rob trains the top 25 Nike All-Americans every year. Rob has also worked with Junior National players in Canada and has trained many of the Portland Trailblazers as a NBA Skills Coach! He offers his private training in Charleston, South Carolina, and is also available for travel.
David Johnson – Norfolk, VA
David Johnson is a great addition to the GBB Team. His passion, knowledge, experience gives him his strengths to motivate players to develop their skills in ball handling, shooting, finishing, one on one play as well as team play to reach players full potential. You will love working out with David!
Danielle Viglione – Sacramento, CA
Danielle is located in the Sacramento, CA area. Danielle has the ability to teach the game of basketball at such a high energy level and she has a great aspect in teaching innovated, creative drills in a clear way. She is new to the GBB pro staff training team, however she is definitely not new to the game of basketball. She currently teaches the fundamentals of basketball through camps, clinics, privates lessons, and semi private lessons.
Korey Harris – Greenville, SC & Atlanta, GA
Korey is a one of a kind trainer. He not only works on basketball skills but he focuses on life skills too. His love for the game is fed by the love that he experiences everyday from his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and it’s his passion to help others experience the same fulfillment. Korey is a certified trainer, founder/operator/senior Basketball Skill Development Trainer and Strength/Speed/Agility Coach. You will love working out with Korey Harris!
Dee Brown – Atlanta, GA
Dee Brown enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Pistons after serving the last two years as Head Coach and Director of Basketball Operations for the Springfield Armor in the NBA Development League. Dee was the epitome of a team player when he played 12 years in the league. Although he was the 1991 Slam dunk champion he brushes that individual accolade to the side and would rather talk about his relationships with his teammates and what he learned from Jordan and Bird. He is one of the top 3 trainers in the World and can motivate and relate like no other, you will Learn a TON from him!!!!
Terry Drake – Birmingham, AL
Terry Drake is a dynamic Basketball Coach and Skill Development Trainer. Drake’s no non-sense approach to coaching and skill development is why he is successful. His intensity, attention to details, and keeping his players and clients accountable is his formula for success. Yet one of the greatest things he enjoys doing, and understands is a MUST, is developing relationships. He is a big believer of the old saying, “A person don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” You will not regret having Terry train you!
Ryan Goodson – Statesville, NC
Ryan Goodson is a Pro Player Development Trainer and NBA Skills Academy Clinician. He travels all over the country sharing his knowledge and passion with players/coaches at his elite skills clinics. He is the owner of Goodson Basketball Services.
