Coaching Clinic with Ganon Baker

We offer a very unique system of skill development training. We have three levels of skill trainers. All go through an extensive certification process within GBB. This includes online course instruction, live classroom and court instruction, practicum experience with Ganon and GBB staff, and personal experience and application. We have three levels of trainers:

Pro Trainers

These trainers are level three trainers; they have personal playing experience from college to the pro-level. They have personal coaching experience at the high-school and college levels. These trainers have 16 or more hours in practicum experience with Ganon Baker and have passed the certification with an 82% or higher.

Strength and Conditioning Trainers

Our strength training program is done with a level three trainer. These trainers have playing experience at the high-school, college, or pro-levels. They have personal coaching experience at the high-school and/or college level. Also, has practicum experience with Ganon Baker.

GM’s

GM’s are group members and associates of GBB. They do not directly work for Ganon Baker. They are a level two trainer with our program. They have attended our coaching certification class and passed the certification test with an 82% or higher. To become a level three trainer, they must expand their program to an exceptional level. They must have 8 or more hours of practicum experience with GBB staff and they must be recommended by Ganon Baker.

Certified Coaches and Trainers

These are level one trainers within our program. They have either taken the online test and/or taken the three day coaching class and they must pass the test with an 82% or above. To become a level two trainer, they must attend a three day coaching certification class or spend a weekend with Ganon going over the curriculum ($2,500).

Thanks to all who participated in the 2009-2012 Skill Development Coaching Class. The certification process was not an easy one with 3 days/18 hours of class which entailed classroom, on court, and film breakout sessions. Ganon Baker led the skill development training and guided the coaches and trainers through his skill development curriculum. Topics that were covered were position breakdown, offensive fundamentals of skill development, advanced offensive moves, and progression of motion offense. Ganon integrated many motivational and innovative techniques that can be utilized for today’s players. The coaches and trainers that completed the certification process now have an increased competency in overall knowledge of player development/teaching. They gained new concepts, drills, and techniques which they put forth as they took the certification test to increase their credibility as a skill development teacher in the basketball world. Some of the trainers have joined the Ganon Baker Basketball Training Team and Group Member Team.

In 2013 we will have 2 Skill Development Coaching Classes offered – One in Delray Beach, FL (August 9-12, 2013) and one in Las Vegas, NV (June 7-9 2013). Contact Angie Diamond for more Detail [email protected]
