What is the Secret to a Player’s Success?

I came across this link that Kyle James, who is a good trainer and a friend of mine sent me. This is a very interesting and profound 8 minute news story on why kids become successful and why Payton Manning, Michael Jordan, Beyonce Knowles, and Michael Jackson are so great at what they do. What comes to mind is first off a lot of hard work. Next, having the talent to learn. Also, being injury free. Lastly, being at the right place at the right time.
I work with many great female and male basketball players. Courtney Paris, Renee Montgomery, Barbara Turner, Angel McCoughtry, Derrick Rose, Amare’ Stoudemire, just to name a few. While spending time with these great players, they all have a common theme and that is a very driven work ethic. Without question they have unbelievable talent. I do not spend every waking hour or minute with them, I was just a part of their lives for a brief amount of time and helped them increase their skill. It got me thinking, what actually makes these players great?
Below, you will see a great 8 minute video that explains this in a little more depth. The author talks about how talent is practice, and practice is talent. I agree with him; talent is made and players use modern resources to get better The video talks about three crucial ingredients for creating talent. Lets look at them.
